Raw Reflections by Trinity Barnette
Unfiltered commentary on law, identity, media, and everything in between.
I write to expose what others ignore. Whether it’s breaking down courtroom drama, critiquing toxic pop culture, analyzing TV shows with psychological depth, or unpacking personal truths—I do it all with clarity, boldness, and purpose. This blog is where advocacy meets storytelling, where survivors are heard, and where no subject is off-limits.
Uncover
my story
I’m Trinity Barnette—a criminal justice major, writer, and legal blogger with a loud mouth and a lot to say. I created Raw Reflections to speak openly about the things we’re told to stay silent on: abuse, power, injustice, identity, and the raw emotions beneath them.
This platform is part blog, part healing space, and part battlefield. Whether I’m dissecting a federal sex trafficking trial, breaking down courtroom objections, or venting about the pain of being a woman, I bring the same passion to every word: truth, rage, clarity, and care.
“I don’t write to be perfect. I write to be real.”
This year wasn’t about finding my voice.
It was about using it without apology.
Raw Reflections became a place where I stopped translating my thoughts into something easier to accept and started writing with clarity—about trauma, power, culture, accountability, and the systems that rely on silence to survive.
The posts collected here aren’t the most comfortable or the most shareable. They’re the ones that mattered. The ones that shaped the direction of this blog, challenged readers (and me), and defined what this space became over the course of the year.
This isn’t a recap.
It’s a record of what I chose not to soften.
